Greetings Folks! I feel like I’ve been in a deep cave and am finally starting to see light ahead! I thank the Lord for His many blessings, one being a great surgeon who has helped my back tremendously!
About 7 weeks ago I hurt my back and could barely walk. Many times I prayed through the night for relief, not just for myself but for others around the world who were hurting too. Sometimes praying for others helps me cope with my own pain.
Pain can distance us from God or it can draw us closer to Him, especially when we recognize that He is the source of our strength to face each day, sometimes even each moment. Even better, recognizing that God is our hope for the future brings great comfort. I know that I have a future with Jesus and there will be no more pain and no more heartache. Praise the Lord!!!🙌🙌🙌
But I made a choice a long time ago …I chose to trust Jesus, to follow Him no matter what. I still have to make that choice. Pain, heartache, health issues, just life in general, can affect my walk with Him so, in spite of hard stuff, I choose to stick with Him no matter what.
My prayer is that you know Jesus and not just know about Him. I pray you know Him as your Savior and your friend. And please allow me to encourage you to grow in your relationship with Him and He will comfort you and give you hope. He is our hope!
