Sacrifice ✝️

I love how God can get my immediate attention. Leviticus is not the easiest book in the Bible to read, at least for me it hasn’t been. I kinda feel like I’m pushing a plow instead of letting the mule pull it (so to speak). Earlier this week I was getting very bogged down reading about the sacrifices. Like a lamp turning on in a dark room, God reminded me that I am reading about the payment for sin and this is the week we really focus upon The Greatest Sacrifice: Jesus Christ, Precious and Holy Son of God. Because He loves us, He gave His life to pay for our sins so that we would not have to do so. And then He reminded me of this verse …

“… without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.”

Hebrews 9:22 NIV

My sin kept me from knowing God and spending my life here and throughout eternity with Him until I confessed my sin and accepted Jesus as my Savior. His sacrifice of His life, the shedding of His blood, cleansed me and allowed me to be forgiven. This is the only way to know God, His wonderful love, grace, and mercy. This is the only way to spend forever with Him. This is the only way to make it through the good and the bad that this life throws at us.

I am broken by my sin and shame.

I am humbled by the sacrifice You freely gave.

I am grateful to approach Your Throne of Grace.

In awe, I worship You, Lord Jesus, King of Kings, forevermore!

I pray you know Him today before it is too late. Please message me if I can help you know Him. He is the best decision you will ever make.

Have a blessed day,

Kim ✝️💜
